One of the features of RV Scribeware is the ability to tag inspection items as Recommended or Required. Part of the development of the RV Scribeware template was to go through the NRVIA SoP line by line and identify SoP requirements which are identified by double ** and text in red. Those requirements that are Recommended are identified by a single * and text in orange.
Both the desktop and the mobile applications track the number of items that are identified as requirements and allow the user to step through the requirements that have not been satisfied before leaving the inspection. The feature of tracking requirements as as the flags for completing sections and chapters provides confidence that a complete and thorough inspection is complete before leaving the inspection site.
